The Credit Sales Graduate Trainee position is an entry level role designed for fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in financial services and credit management. Successful candidates will work directly with clients, support the credit team, and play a key role in growing the company’s loan portfolio while ensuring compliance with KYC, AML, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
As a Credit Sales Graduate Trainee at Watershed Finance Limited you will be expected to:
1. Identify and generate new loan opportunities through marketing and business development activities
2. Meet with prospective clients to understand their financing needs
3. Guide clients through the loan application process and required documentation
4. Collect and verify necessary documents including financial statements, bank statements, and KYC documents
5. Conduct preliminary credit assessments before forwarding applications to the Credit Team
6. Prepare loan application files and ensure completeness and accuracy
7. Follow up on loan approvals and ensure timely disbursement
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
9. Monitor clients’ repayment behavior and provide early alerts on potential defaults
11. Follow up on repayment and maintain client relationships
12. Support recovery efforts by following up with delinquent clients
13. Stay updated on company loan products, policies, and market trends
14. Monitor disbursed loans
15. Collect loan applications and supporting documentation
16. Conduct preliminary evaluation of clients based on creditworthiness
17. Coordinate with the credit team for approval and disbursement processes
18. Maintain regular contacts with clients for servicing and cross-selling
19. Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and internal policies
Requirements
To be considered for the Watershed Finance Limited Credit Sales Graduate Trainee position you must meet the following requirements:
